Leah & Zach – engaged!

Zach and Leah are a dream couple – gorgeous, sweet, generous and easy-going and IN LOVE!  I am very happy we got a chance to meet and hang out last week – congrats, you two – you certainly made my week brighter!

 

 

 

 

 

 

April & Adrian – sneak peek

Love this couple. We had the best day and I had to show a few images before I left for Thanksgiving in Tulsa with Matt’s family. I’m excited already to get back and finish editing this wedding – it was a great way to end a great year of weddings! Thanks to April and Adrian for being so amazing to hang out with all day :)

Danielle and Michael

Had a wonderful time at this wedding in Midland a couple weekends ago!  Danielle and Michael couldn’t be sweeter – they really are the perfect match!  And hands down, the most entertaining wedding party ever.  They kept me laughing all day and even one groomsman had Queen playing on his phone for us during our time shooting before the ceremony.  It was like we were all meant to be.  Here are a few of my favorites and a few dozen more will be on Facebook bright and early Monday morning!

Grace is a year old – since when?

I can’t believe it has been a year.  I sound like the mom of this kid sometimes, talking about how fast the year went by, how I can’t believe how quickly she has grown and what a beautiful little girl she is becoming.  We did her one year pics in conjunction with a few family photos for the Sinclair’s Christmas cards last week and it was amazing to watch her.  I kind of craved some alone time with her – wanted to just watch, observe and capture her new movements, her amazement at the grass, the fence, the sun, everything around her.  To be in those quiet moments where you just witness growth and a child’s amazement at the simplest things must put your life into some sort of perspective. 

I think that is why, amidst the bright colors and larger than life cuteness, I am posting all black and whites as my favorites.  I felt when looking at the black and white shots in particular, that there was something going on – life was changing and in the quiet of the monochromatic tones, you can see it more clearly.

Amanda and Ben

So these two are hilarious – kept me laughing the entire shoot. In between throwing leaves, death by catfish stink, or getting yelled at for trespassing, I’m surprised they are still letting me do their wedding. I’m lucky to have awesome clients with good senses of humor :) Pretty sure Amanda was the only adult present.
