Grace is 6 Months Old

I don’t know what I can say about this kid other than she absolutely stole my heart yesterday.  She was laughing and cooing and staring STRAIGHT AT THE CAMERA nearly the entire time.  She never fussed (well, not until Monster Tu-Tu made it’s debut) and enjoyed being outside more than any kid I’ve ever seen at that age. 

This will be the last blog till mid-June, thus the dozen or so photos :) 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ashley and Danny and Grace – you pushed me one millimeter closer to thinking that having a kid wouldn’t be so bad :)  Grace, you are killer cute – never let anyone tell you those thighs are too chubby.

 

Happy End of May, Everyone – the next two weeks for me are NEW HOUSE-ing and going to Mexico for Cali and Alex’s wedding!  It’s a tough life, I know.

Jerrie’s Bridal Session

Ashley + Chad = Engaged

Ashley has been an active part of two weddings I’ve done the past couple of years and now it’s her turn for the spotlight!  She and Chad have known each other since they were little but nothing “sparked” until just a couple years ago when it was like, “hey, you’re pretty awesome, we should date” and there you have it!  We went out to Ransom Canyon for their engagement shoot and it was magnificent!  Perfect weather and the occasional mosquito – or 30

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

yeah – so I’m terrified of heights.  So much so that my head swims and I feel like my body will throw me off the edge for no apparent reason.  I was about 2 inches from the edge and I was leaning over the edge even more to get this shot.  I guess if you’re gonna fall to your death, it’s good to go out on a shot like this.

Ashley and Chad – thanks for being totally cool and being willing to face mosquito bites, hiking in heels, climbing on rocks, sitting on the edge of a cliff and having a good attitude during all of it!  The rest of the session will be up by tomorrow afternoon!

Yay, I get to blog about this now!

So YESTERDAY, my friend, Charlie called me at 9 a.m. and said, “hey, can you take pictures of me and Abbye to give to Amy for Mother’s Day?”   Um, Charlie, that’s SUNDAY.  Way to be on top of things, dear.

But if you know Charlie, you know it’s impossible to turn that kid down.  I mean, he’s golden.  So we magically got everything done by noon and apparently he couldn’t wait to show Amy till tomorrow because she just wrote me on Facebook saying I was her hero….so I guess this means I can post my favorites!

Heather and Blake are engaged!

Okay so Heather is pretty much the cutest thing there ever was.  This girl can single-handedly improve your day with just one laugh, one HUGE smile.   It’s so sweet to see her and Blake together – Blake, being the shy, stoic type, couldn’t help but crack a few grins at Heather during our shoot and it was so nice to see their dynamic – what makes them a good couple.  At one point during the shoot, I was saying silly things in a high pitched voice to try and get him to smile and he laughed and said, “I don’t need two of you!”  :)  Even though this was not the ideal way to spend two hours, Blake did great and I think secretly had a bit of fun.  Here are my favorites:
