So little did Megan and Nathan or anyone at the wedding know, but the little bride and groom that sat prettily on the bride’s table, had a little adventure while no one was watching.  This bride and groom cake topper was used on Megan’s grandmother’s cake and because they were fragile, Megan chose to just use them as decoration on her table.  They had ideas of their own…

Then they decided to scope out the wedding favors.  Candy coated pecans?  Sounds great – even though they are as big as our torsos

And thus concludes the story of the traveling bride and groom.  I had this idea after the reception died down a bit and I had taken pics of all the tables.  This took me about 5 minutes and when I returned from doing the last shot, Carol said, “Oh there you are – take a picture of this!” And so I hid the bride and groom by the cheese tray while I took the shot so no one would wonder why I was carrying the old bride and groom topper around (crazy photog).

Megan + Nathan: the wedding!

Megan and Nathan have two of the nicest families on the planet.  And that made for one very sweet day.  And now those cute kids have been married for a little over a week and I must say, they are a stellar match.  I’ve got the wedding 99% edited and enough to pick out my favorites of the day. Here they are!

Cali and Alex – outtakes

Cali and Alex

are getting married in Acapulco at the end of May and boy howdy, I get to go, too! I can’t wait for their wedding. I’ve known Cali since high school and I always knew she’d end up with a pretty spectacular guy. And Alex is for sure! I’m going to have to do a post strictly for the “outtakes” from their shoot because it was pretty much non-stop laugher and goof-ball shenanigans. These are my top 5, but trust me, the silly ones are coming soon…

Krista – college grad!

Krista is my cousin – well that’s what we call ourselves.  She is my cousin’s daughter so what does that make her?  I can never figure crazy family ties out.   Krista and I don’t get to chat near enough.  This girl is bubbly and full of life and an absolute blast to be around.  There is non-stop conversation and laughing the whole time you’re around her.  She wanted more of a “mod” type shoot for her graduation pics.  None of the cap and gown yawners, for Krista, she wanted Vogue.   We tried a little bit of everything and here are my favorites.  Krista – come up for dinner more often!
