So little did Megan and Nathan or anyone at the wedding know, but the little bride and groom that sat prettily on the bride’s table, had a little adventure while no one was watching. This bride and groom cake topper was used on Megan’s grandmother’s cake and because they were fragile, Megan chose to just use them as decoration on her table. They had ideas of their own…
Here they are – enjoying the scene as people come up and get the bride’s cake…
Then they decided to scope out the wedding favors. Candy coated pecans? Sounds great – even though they are as big as our torsos
And then they made their way to the groom’s table…
stopping to smell the flowers…
stepped on the stage to reminisce about when it was their day!
checking out the sound levels – did a little tweaking…
Take us with you on the honeymoon!
And thus concludes the story of the traveling bride and groom. I had this idea after the reception died down a bit and I had taken pics of all the tables. This took me about 5 minutes and when I returned from doing the last shot, Carol said, “Oh there you are – take a picture of this!” And so I hid the bride and groom by the cheese tray while I took the shot so no one would wonder why I was carrying the old bride and groom topper around (crazy photog).
Hope you all enjoyed my little photo indulgence! Until next time…
