December

Things have slowed down for about 3 weeks.  I have my first wedding of the year on January 9, one day after my 5 year anniversary of being married to the most awesome guy on the planet.  I’m meeting with two girls this week to book weddings for June and July – things are slow now, but I can already feel the busy season buzzing in the distance.  I need this three weeks – to do crafts like this:

Which I plan on doing this week for friends and family.  I will also get to spend Tuesday baking with my dear friend, Shannon.  It’s a tradition for me to make my favorite rosemary cranberry biscotti, and I don’t intend to break that this year!  If there is time, I want to make this:

This has to be one of the most intriguing and delectable food blogs I’ve ever seen.  I love how different cultures bring entirely different aspects to the baking/cooking world for me.

As for photography, I’ve been finishing up a few wedding albums, doing random but fun shoots for family and friends, and working on the new website, to be unveiled in early January (with hope.)

Stick with me and thank you to everyone who has made this year so special – especially the clients – you are all amazing and have brought joy and laughter to each and every month that’s flown past this year.

Blog post coming soon:
-my top 15 favorite shots taken throughout 2009!
-our awesome Christmas card (that my trusty tripod helped us accomplish this afternoon)
