For the Love of Damask

So we had to change our guest bathroom situation asap. When we moved into our lovely home, the guest bath was BRIGHT tomato red on top and navy blue on the bottom - a bit too Grand Ol' Flag for me. Unfortunately, we couldn't get around to repainting until this weekend because as soon as we moved in, we had to leave the country (not had to, we got to) to do Cali and Alex's wedding. But behold! Today we finished up the bathroom and I swear - painting a bathroom is no picnic. So many nooks and crannys - not to mention how terribly awkward it is to paint behind a toilet! So it will be this color until we move out because I will never paint a bathroom again.

a stark improvement. And a damask print - which I love and Matt does NOT. But I asked for one room in the house that I could totally girlify and so this is it! (and possibly the guest bedroom, too - before kiddos arrive, at least). Ah the joys of home ownership!

Would you be offended if this bathroom had a twin in Henrietta, Texas? I LOVE that color-I have been thinking of the brown/turqoise combo for our bathroom too (that just also happens to be very red)...might you share your paint color with me ;)
